Approach

A supportive and collaborative approach

Génevieve provides a calm and supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood and supported to take practical next steps.

Génevieve offers a holistic approach to mental health and uses CBT, DBT, and mindfulness practices to support overall wellbeing.

Her approach is tailored to each person’s needs, goals and circumstances, with a focus on strategies that can translate into lasting change in everyday life.

Working with children and teens

A collaborative approach that still protects confidentiality

In working with children and teens, Génevieve prefers a collaborative approach that protects confidentiality while also helping support the child or teen in practising the techniques and tools shared in session.

Where appropriate, parents or carers may be supported in helping the child or teen apply these strategies in daily life, so that progress continues beyond the consulting room.

This approach is designed to support more lasting mental health changes while still respecting the privacy and therapeutic space of the young person.
